Common questions about Rent-to-Own
Do I need perfect credit?
No. Credit is one of several factors reviewed. Each application is assessed individually to determine whether the program may be suitable.
How long is a typical Rent-to-Own program?
Program terms are often between 24 and 36 months, but the actual term depends on the property, the applicant’s circumstances, program requirements, and the signed agreements.
How much savings is usually needed?
Savings requirements vary. The amount needed depends on the property, program structure, and the applicant’s circumstances.
Can I choose the home?
Property selection depends on availability, affordability, program requirements, inspection and due-diligence results, and the parties reaching acceptable written terms.
Do you guarantee mortgage approval?
No. Mortgage approval is determined independently by a lender based on its requirements and your circumstances at the time of application.
What is the best next step if I am unsure?
